I'm french, and to be honest, most of the middle class don't give a ******* **** about those fashion labels. But...I know the son of Hermes, random fact.
Most women like to look at haute couture fashion. But for the majority of French women, as with women in other countries, this type of fashion is completely out of reach financially. It's something we all dream about but know we'll never have the money to buy.
Kind of like the Americans think of Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, etc.
